About Me

I am an Applied Scientist at Amazon Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) - Nova in Berlin, focused on foundation models. I bring 8+ years of experience across AI, machine learning, data science, GenAI systems, knowledge graphs, scalable ML, and applied AI product development.

My work connects research curiosity with systems that have to work under real constraints: data quality, evaluation, latency, cost, governance, sustainability, and user trust. I am especially motivated by science, AI for social good, and technologies that can make our lives better while keeping democratic societies resilient.

Profile

My strongest overlap is between foundation-model research, enterprise GenAI, and responsible AI engineering. Before joining Amazon AGI - Nova, I worked on LLM product development and consulting at Comma Soft AG, and on scalable distributed machine learning for knowledge graphs at the University of Bonn.

What I Care About

I care about AI systems that are technically strong, explainable enough to reason about, and useful for real people and organizations. That means asking not only whether a model is powerful, but also how it is evaluated, what data it depends on, where it runs, what trade-offs it creates, and who benefits from it.
